Instructor Information
Sherrill L. (Gregory) Trovato, MBA, MST, EA, USTCP, developed and began teaching Preparing to Practice before the US Tax Court after passing the exam on her first attempt in 2000. She is proud that the majority of the people who were successful over the past five exam cycles (‘02, ‘04, ’06, ’08 and ‘10) either attended her full exam cycle class series or took her review session immediately before the exam.
She received her Bachelor of Arts (Business Administration, Accounting), Master of Business Administration (Finance), and Master of Science (Taxation) degrees, all from California State University (Fullerton campus) between 1988 and 1993. She passed the SEE on her first attempt in 1991 and became an enrolled agent in 1992. She also frequently lectures at various NAEA state affiliates.
In 2008 and 2009 she was one of the 8 members of NAEA who fielded taxpayer questions on the Today Show. In 2008 she appeared on Tax Talk Today and was Jean Chatzky’s April 15 guest on Oprah & Friends XM radio show.
